When starting the program an "empty" project created so that measurements can be immediately read in and evaluated. This project has a default name which can be set under the menu option "Setup".

Edit multiple projects

More than one project can be worked on at once. New projects can be created or old ones can be opened. Thereby only one project is the current project which can be worked on and evaluated.

One can see in the menu option "Project List" which project is currently open. The currently opened project is marked with a check under this menu option.

Set up new project

New projects can be created with the menu option "File - Set up new Project":

Enter a new name and path where the project should be created. With the help of the buttons "..." you can choose a new path.

After clicking 'OK' a directory will be created, such as in the above case"D:\Projekte\NeAkustik\NeAkustiProject5", in which later all the files that belong to the project will be placed.

The predefined entries called up with the dialogue can be set up with the Set up Dialogue.

Open an existing project

An existing project can be opened with the menu option "File - Open project".

A file selection dialogue will appear.

During the creation of a project a ".nep“ file (NeAcoustics-Project-File) must be selected. This file has the same name as the project (with the same ending ".nep“). It is located in a Project Directory Verzeichnis, in dem alle Dateien, die zu einem Projekt gehören, abgespeichert werden of the same name.
