Installation

Start the setup program
Select the language for setup and NeVib
Follow the instructions of the setup program
select the acquisition driver. If you only want to evaluate NeVib-projects or if you want to test NeVib, select the simulation driver. It simulates a data acquisition device.

For verification of the filters a test project was installed in the NeVib data directory. See ISO8041-Testproject

Install the drivers for your measurement devices. For this please follow the instructions of the hardware supplier (refer to section data acquisition ).
Connect your device to the computer.
If you use DEWETRON devices parameterize the modules with software DEWESOFT.
If you use DEWETRON devices, please adapt file NeCC_Dewetron.ini, especially the COM port and the module addresses (refer to section data acquisition).
All other entries (module settings) are only relevant if the device cannot be addressed by the defined COM port and the settings have to be defined by the entries in file NeCC_Dewetron.ini.
Start NeVib. In the main dialog click on 'Recording setup' and check if all entries are correct. For details please refer to section Recording Setup.
Click on 'Start recording. a Measurement will be taken.
If you have started an infinite measurement you have to click on "'Recording stop'. If you have start a measurement wit a defined duration the measurement will be stopped automatically.
Click on Button 'Analysis. In the Analysis dialog the channels of the measurement will be displayed. You can define working cycles (= time sections for the evaluation). For details please refer to section Analysis dialog.
Click on button 'Show results'. The analysis results will be displayed.

Instead of taking measurements on your own, you can also import ASCII files.
