The measurements are organized in projects. Each project may contain more than one measurement. Each measurement may contain two vibration channel groups ( e.g. 'left hand' and 'right hand'), and each Vibration channel group may contain tree vibration channels ('x', 'y' and 'z'). Additionally each measurement may contain up to four additional channels.
The data of each project are collected in the project directory. The following files belong to one project:
Project-xml-file („NeVibProject.xml“) contains all data for the measurements contained in this project.
The project directory contains a sub-directory 'Data'. This sub-directory contains the measurement data for each measurement in the Taffmat-format. The Taffmat-format defines one header-file (*.HDR), which contains all setup data of the measurement, and the data-file, which contains the measured data for each measurement. The names of the files dare predefined by the Prefix "NeVib", date and time: NeVibYY_MM_DD_HH_MM_SS;.
When NeVib is started, a new project is created. This project has the name which is defined in the setup dialog, appended by the current index of the project.
The setup data for the working cycles and for the recording setup which have been defined at last are stored to the project file. So each project may be used as a 'template' for further measurements of the same type ('Open project' and 'Save Project as...').
